We’re all big fans of the “teach a man to fish” metaphor. We come down with the rods, in our case medical and lifesaving equipment, and do our best to teach people how to ‘fish’. This can range from teaching junior lifeguard courses to the local kids to holding courses in the use of handheld ultrasound at the local medical clinics, and everything in between.
